Welcome to the Intersection of Art, Music & Cannabis Culture
Most people try to fit into one box.
Artist. Entrepreneur. Musician. Stoner. Business owner.
I’ve never been very good at that.
My name is Colin Rich, and if you’ve somehow landed on this page, welcome. This blog is where all the different parts of my life collide.
For years I’ve been building businesses, making music, chasing dreams, taking losses, celebrating wins, and trying to figure out what success actually means. Along the way I’ve met incredible artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and free thinkers who all shared one thing in common: they refused to live life according to someone else’s blueprint.
That’s what this blog is about.
Not perfection.
Not pretending.
Not acting like we’ve got it all figured out.
Just real conversations about creativity, culture, business, music, and the experiences that shape who we become.
The Art of Being Different
Art isn’t just paintings hanging on a wall.
Art is the tattoo that tells your story.
It’s the custom grill that makes you feel unstoppable.
It’s the mural on the side of a building.
It’s the way you dress, the way you speak, and the way you leave your mark on the world.
Art is identity.
In a world that constantly pushes people to blend in, I’ve always been fascinated by the people willing to stand out.
The rebels.
The visionaries.
The creators.
The ones willing to risk looking crazy before everyone realizes they were right.
Music Saved My Life
Music has always been more than entertainment to me.
Music gave me a voice when I didn’t know how to express what I was feeling.
It turned pain into purpose.
Frustration into fuel.
Losses into lessons.
Every song starts as an idea that doesn’t exist anywhere except inside your mind. Then somehow, through enough work and belief, it becomes something thousands of people can feel.
That’s magic.
And whether you’re an independent artist grinding from your bedroom or a superstar performing in front of thousands, the process is the same.
Create.
Fail.
Learn.
Create again.
Cannabis Culture: More Than a Plant
For decades, cannabis culture has influenced music, art, fashion, and creative thinking.
But for me, cannabis culture has always been about something bigger.
It’s about community.
Conversation.
Perspective.
It’s about slowing down long enough to think differently.
Some of the best creative ideas I’ve ever had started during simple conversations that turned into deep discussions about life, business, music, and where we’re all headed.
Cannabis didn’t create those ideas.
But it helped create the environment where they could grow.
Building Something From Nothing
One thing you’ll quickly learn about me is that I’m obsessed with building.
Songs.
Brands.
Businesses.
Ideas.
I’ve learned that creating something from nothing is one of the most rewarding experiences on Earth.
Most people see the finished product.
They don’t see the sleepless nights.
The doubts.
The setbacks.
The moments where quitting would have been easier.
That’s where the real story lives.
And that’s exactly the kind of story you’ll find here.
What You Can Expect From This Blog
This won’t be another website full of recycled content.
You’ll get real stories.
Behind-the-scenes experiences from the music industry.
Conversations about creativity and entrepreneurship.
Cannabis culture.
Art.
Business.
Life lessons.
Wins.
Failures.
And everything in between.
Some posts will inspire you.
Some might challenge you.
A few might piss you off.
That’s okay.
The goal isn’t to make everyone agree.
The goal is to make people think.
This Is Just the Beginning
If you’re reading this, you’re here at the start.
Before the next chapter is written.
Before the next song drops.
Before the next business is built.
Before the next crazy idea becomes reality.
So whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, music lover, cannabis enthusiast, or just someone trying to create a life worth remembering, I’m glad you’re here.
Welcome to the journey.
Let’s build something legendary.
— Colin
